But her first glimpse of the reclusive heiress Anne de Bourgh brings mystery crashing delightfully into what might otherwise be a quiet trip. When Mr. Darcy and his cousin Colonel Fitzwilliam arrive at Rosings Park, lighthearted Lizzy must begin to face the largest mystery of all – what is it that she really wants?
Lizzy Bennet Ghost Hunter is a series of haunted short stories inspired by Jane Austen’s beloved novel Pride and Prejudice, and by the sort of tall tales best heard among the shadows and wavering glow that surrounds a campfire. Look for the series conclusion Shades of Prejudice Past in winter 2017.

Rosings and the Wraith Pride and Prejudice and Witches Lizzy Bennet Ghost Hunter Book 3 eBook Jemma Thorne Reviews
Another enjoyable story with Elizabeth growing more powerful against the spirits she encounters. She and her great-great-grandmother Clarice’s spectre, are riding towards Rosings Park, the grand estate of Lady Catherine de Bourgh, with Sir William Lucas and Maria to visit Charlotte and Collins. Only Elizabeth can see and hear her, but Clarice wonders how she can stand to listen to all the drivel occurring in the carriage. Not wanting to laugh, Elizabeth gets a grimace on her face prompting Sir William to ask if she is ill. Charlotte seems content in her marriage, but Collins is still the same stupid idiot he was before, who seems to be trying to convince Elizabeth what she gave up by not marrying him. Like I said, "Idiot." When Elizabeth sees Anne de Bourgh, there seems to be a brownish gray haze and malevolence around her. That night at dinner, Anne glares at Elizabeth, and she can feel the evil radiating from her. Clarice and Elizabeth discuss whether Anne is influenced by Mrs. Jenkinson or Mrs. Jenkinson is influenced by Anne. They watch both, and see Mrs. Jenkinson perform an animal sacrifice. Convinced that Mrs. Jenkinson is possessed by evil, Elizabeth reads more of Lady Leticia's book finding out how to kill the evil spirit. Using crystals, Elizabeth buries three crystals in a triangular shape just beneath the surface. When she placed the last crystal, the triangle flashed, then disappeared. The fourth crystal stayed in Elizabeth's possession. Meanwhile, Mr. Darcy continues to visit the parsonage and walk with Elizabeth. Charlotte tries to tell her that he must love her. She emphatically disagrees. Then Colonel Fitzwilliam relates how Darcy saved Bingley from an imprudent marriage. When Elizabeth doesn't show for dinner, Darcy comes to propose poorly, igniting Elizabeth's ire. Upon receiving his letter, she is shamed by her foolishness. Darcy and Colonel Fitzwilliam leave immediately after giving her his letter. She's upset with herself, but the crystal begins to heat up in her pocket. She and Clarice rush to the lake and find Mrs. Jenkinson splayed out on the ground, still breathing. As Elizabeth looked out over the lake after a shrill scream was heard, a brown mist hovered over the trees circling the lake. The wraith. All of a sudden the dark mist was over Mrs. Jenkinson. Lizzy pointed to it and began to repeat the spell from Lady Leticia's book. Mrs. Jenkinson writhing around on the ground, the Wraith hovering over the lake, and Elizabeth repeating the spell, suddenly remembers the crystals. Taking them from the ground, Mrs. Jenkinson awakes, repeating the spell with Elizabeth and Elizabeth throws the crystals into the lake. The Wraith is held by its tail, screeching as it is pulled beneath the surface and disappears. Silence. Mrs. Jenkinson thanks Elizabeth, and she helps her return to Rosings. Three days later, Elizabeth makes the return journey to London. During the ride, she spends her time chastising herself over Mr. Darcy and worrying about the darkness shown by Clarice. Elizabeth knows she wants to help spirits not hurt them. As the carriage lumbered towards London and Jane, she recalls all the secrets she must hide and worries about her relationship with her great-great-great grandmother's spirit. Can she trust her or not? Hope there are more of these stories coming. Quick and interesting stories.
Very entertaining and fast paced series. I'm looking forwards to the next one.
